You will receive lots of valuable advice and coaching on establishing the kind of career that is long- lived, lucrative and life- enhancing. In your individualised, one- to- one sessions, you will receive a realistic explanation of what it takes to make it in modelling profession and whether you have what it takes.
Learn how world fashion trends can affect your career and how you can stay on top of the industry developments. You will find out all you need to know to be able to find an agent and how to stand out when you start looking for an agent and receive help and advice on open calls, model searches, model conventions and modelling schools.
You will also be taught about how modelling agencies work, about test shoots, portfolios, castings, contact sheets, composites, job interviews etc. Getting through your first test shoot can be petrifying, but you can be well prepared in advance either for the studio or location shoot.
Learn the industry
Two of the most important aspects of managing a successful modelling career are personal and emotional management and looking after your face and body.
Bianca will coach you on all the downsides of modelling and how to avoid them: drugs, alcohol abuse, overspending, dieting and eating disorders, handling family and friends and their changing attitudes, envy, resentment, sibling rivalry, boyfriends and other people around you, dealing with rejection, stress and exhaustion, etiquette, pros and cons of cosmetic surgery, dealing with work slowdowns and managing your self-esteem under attack.
There are many aspects of modelling, including runway modelling, magazines, editorial modelling, in-store modelling, fashion shows, advertisements, endorsements and catalogues.
you will be assessed by Bianca on your own suitability for particular niches of the business. She also works with clients who don't meet the stringent criteria for fashion modelling, including plus-size models, elegant (older) models, real-people models, men and small children as well as "parts" models (hands, legs,feet etc).
It is very important to be well prepared for all aspects of your modelling career, once it is up and running. You will receive world class coaching on establishing your clientele, finding a niche, managing and making the most of your finances, lawyers, financial planning, accountants, health insurance, investments and planning for a future beyond modelling, such as further education.
